MarDon Resort hosts several fishing tournaments and special family events throughout the year!
We have continued to be a local favorite destination because of some of the events and surrounding community events held annually in this area. Our central location, large lake and access to several seep lakes make MarDon Resort a haven for water recreation events. If you are a fishing sportsman you will find our fishing tournaments to be some of the best held in the state and not to mention we have several family events such as an annual favorite Lake Games and beach party!
July 11, 2026 - The American Bass Tournament returns to the Washington East Region at Potholes Reservoir on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Hosted in the renowned waters surrounding Mardon Resort, this exciting event brings together anglers from across the Northwest to compete for top honors while showcasing one of Washington's premier bass fisheries. Spectators are invited to experience the excitement of tournament weigh-ins and competitive bass fishing action. Registration
July 18-19, 2026 - 2026 Jack & Jill Open. Registration fee is $150.00 (there is an additional $20 late registration fee after June 19, 2026) per Jack & Jill team. There is an 75% payback and 10% will be donated to a Charity. You are permitted to register Friday July 17th (6:00pm-8:00pm) or on the morning of the tournament July 18th (5:30am-6:00am). Teams must consist of one Jack & one Jill, and the boater must be an adult. Each team member must fish during the tournament. Tournament waters are off limits July 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 2026. The tournament Headquarters will be at Mardon Resort and space is limited so get your registrations in early.
Aug 18-22, 2026 - Grant County Fair Camping at Mardon Resort during fair week? Spend a fun-filled day at the Grant County Fair in Moses Lake, featuring exciting carnival rides, live entertainment, delicious fair food, agricultural exhibits, a thrilling rodeo, the crowd-favorite demolition derby, and family-friendly attractions.

MarDon Resort hosts several annual family oriented events throughout the season, which include: 4th of July Fireworks and Golf Cart Parade, Dock Tournament and entertainment such as, live band's, karaoke and painting at the beach house.
